Exterior work is not a credit-card purchase. We work with two third-party lenders that offer home-improvement financing from 12 months same-as-cash to 144-month installment plans. Same-day approvals, and checking your options does not affect your credit score.

SECTION 01 / PLANS

Three ways to pay.

Every plan below is offered through a third-party lender. We are not the lender, we do not set the rates, and we do not get paid differently based on which plan you choose.

PLAN A

12 mo

Same-as-cash

Pay no interest if the balance is paid in full within twelve months. Interest accrues from day one at the standard rate and is waived at payoff if the promotional period is met.

  • No interest if paid in 12 months
  • Monthly minimum payment required
  • Standard rate applies if not paid in full by month 12
  • Best for smaller projects paid off quickly
Most chosen PLAN B

60 mo

Fixed installment

Fixed monthly payment for sixty months at a fixed rate. The most common plan for full siding replacements and facade restorations because it keeps the payment predictable.

  • Fixed rate from day one
  • Fixed monthly payment
  • No prepayment penalty
  • Best for full reclads and facade work
PLAN C

144 mo

Extended term

Twelve-year installment loan for the largest projects. Lowest monthly payment, highest total interest. Used when the priority is keeping the monthly obligation as small as possible.

  • Fixed rate for the full term
  • Lowest monthly payment option
  • No prepayment penalty
  • Best for large commercial or multifamily work
SECTION 02 / PAYMENT CALCULATOR

Estimate the monthly.

Move the sliders to see an estimated monthly payment for a given project cost and term. This is an estimate — the actual rate depends on your credit profile and the lender's underwriting.

  • Estimates use a representative APR of 8.99%
  • Actual rates typically range from 6.99% to 19.99%
  • Same-day decision, no impact to credit to check
  • Apply after the estimate visit, not before

SECTION 03 / HOW TO APPLY

Four steps.

Financing runs after your estimate — never before. You should know the project scope and the total cost before you decide how to pay for it.

01

Get the estimate

On-site visit, photographs, written itemized proposal within two business days. You know the actual project cost before financing enters the conversation.

Week 1
02

Apply with the lender

We send you a link to the lender portal. Application takes five minutes. Soft credit pull to see options; full pull only if you accept the offer.

Same day
03

The lender shows you the terms you qualify for. You choose the plan that fits. We schedule installation once financing is confirmed.

04

Work begins

Deposit is covered by the financing. First payment is typically due thirty days after the loan closes — after the work has started, not before.

Week 2–3
SECTION 04 / FAQ

Financing questions.

Q-01Will checking my options affect my credit score?

No. The initial application uses a soft credit pull, which does not affect your score. A full pull — which does show as an inquiry — only happens if you accept a specific financing offer and move forward with the loan.

Q-02What credit score do I need to qualify?

The lender's published minimum is 640, but the rate tiers start improving at 700 and above. Below 640 we can still help through a co-signer, a home-equity product through your bank, or a cash-plus-financing split. Ask the project manager what options fit your situation.

Q-03Does Northcrest get paid differently based on which plan I choose?

No. The lender pays us the same amount regardless of term length or promotional structure. We do not receive a commission on the loan, do not set the interest rate, and do not have a stake in which plan you choose. We suggest financing as an option and let you make the decision.

Q-04Can I pay the loan off early?

Yes. There is no prepayment penalty on any of the plans we offer. Paying the balance off early reduces the total interest you pay. On the same-as-cash plan, paying in full within the promotional period means you pay no interest at all.

Q-05What happens if I do not pay off the same-as-cash plan within 12 months?

Interest accrues from day one at the standard rate for the promotional period and is charged retroactively if the balance is not paid in full by the end of the twelve months. That means you could owe twelve months of back interest in month thirteen. Same-as-cash plans are a good fit only if you are confident you can pay the balance within the promotional window.

Q-06Can I finance a commercial project?

Home-improvement financing is available for residential projects. Commercial and multifamily projects are typically financed through the property owner's own commercial lending relationship. If you need help with commercial financing introductions, ask the project manager and we can connect you with lenders who work in this space.

Q-07Can I combine financing with a deposit I have in savings?

Yes. Many of our clients put down a portion of the project cost from savings and finance the remainder. That reduces the monthly payment and the total interest paid. Tell the project manager your target down-payment amount and we will structure the financing application to match.
